IQ Compendium Support And AI Reporting

Status: pre-release public support and AI-reporting page for final legal/product review before Store submission.

Support Summary

IQ Compendium is a local-first companion app for notes, documents, journals, canvas/whiteboards, import/export, and backups.

IQ Wealth is the master app for setup help, AI routing, model/provider policy, backup guidance, diagnostics, and repair workflows.

Normal Support Path

Use this support path for:

The current public support and AI-output reporting URL is:

```text
https://iq-compendium-policy.pages.dev/support.html
For V1 local testing, users should start by asking IQ Wealth Assistant to check the Compendium connection. The final Store listing may add a direct support email or ticket path later.
## AI Connection Help
If an IQ Compendium AI feature does not work, the expected user-facing message is:
```text
IQ Wealth is required for AI connection. If already running, ask IQ Wealth Assistant for help or contact support.

Recommended user steps:

1. Open IQ Wealth.

2. Ask IQ Wealth Assistant to check IQ Compendium AI.

3. Confirm IQ Wealth can reach its configured AI provider.

4. If the issue remains, contact support with the Compendium app version, IQ Wealth app version, and the visible error text.

AI Output Reporting

Users should report AI output that is unsafe, incorrect, misleading, offensive, private, harmful, or otherwise concerning.

When reporting AI output, include:

Do not include sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or client-confidential information unless support explicitly requests a secure handling process.

Data Handling Reminder

IQ Compendium stores documents locally by default. AI features are different: selected text, user prompts, and relevant document context may be sent to IQ Wealth and then to the configured upstream AI provider.

IQ Compendium should not send users to AFFiNE Cloud or upstream AFFiNE support for normal V1 client support.

Restore And Recovery

If a workspace appears damaged or missing:

1. Do not repeatedly import, restore, or edit the database.

2. Open IQ Wealth.

3. Ask IQ Wealth Assistant to create a fresh Compendium backup.

4. Ask IQ Wealth Assistant to inspect available backups.

5. Rehearse restore into an isolated temporary app-data folder before replacing live app data.

Live restore should require explicit user confirmation.
